I have been a professional river guide for more than twenty years, and I created Raft’Ubaye with one simple goal: to offer authentic rafting experiences in a small, independent company. I am proud to remain an independent guide, taking the time to welcome every family personally and share my passion for one of the most beautiful whitewater rivers in the French Alps.
Located between Barcelonnette and Lake Serre-Ponçon, the Ubaye River is famous throughout Europe for its crystal-clear water, exciting rapids and spectacular mountain scenery. It is the perfect place to discover whitewater rafting in an exceptional natural environment.

During the summer holidays, most of my guests are families spending their vacation in the Ubaye Valley, Barcelonnette, or around Lake Serre-Ponçon.
Rafting is an exciting activity that everyone can enjoy together. Children and adults share the adventure as they paddle through fun rapids, peaceful sections of the river and, when conditions allow, even enjoy a refreshing swim.
No previous experience is required. Before every trip, I carefully explain safety procedures and paddling techniques so that everyone can relax and enjoy the adventure with confidence.
